  1. Great work but again no mention of Zardes. Why doesn’t anybody discuss his drop in level compared to the rest of the team. Surely Rowe can create changes AND do it with more skill.

  2. Got a lot of young faces in the squad and won the whole thing. This Gold Cup was a big success for the USMNT on multiple fronts.

  3. What about putting out a
    433
With Acosta, Bradley, Nagbe/Tyler Adams/ Bedoya.
I think that’s the best because it takes off pressure from Bradley with Adams and Acosta as engines and then have Nagbe on the left and pulisic on the right

  4. I still think Dempsey is the most clutch finisher this team has, or has ever had. I’d rather play him for the first 70 minutes rather than the last 20. If he’s on the field, you have to put him up top. I think Jozy showed he can play as a creator, and not just as a deep-lying forward. Dempsey is just still a more clinical finisher than either Wood or Altidore. Only Pulisic is better. Miroslav Klose started for Germany in 2014 — I actually think Dempsey is better, and next year he’ll still be younger than Klose was in 2014.

I don’t think either Kellen should be starting for this team. We’ve got 10 field players that are better than all others, and neither Kellen is in there. Acosta had a bit of an off night. I’m sure he’ll bounce back, but if he can’t stand out vs. Jamaica you have to wonder what he’ll do in Russia.

The 10 field players I’d like to see on the field at the same time are: Pulisic/Dempsey/Nagbe/Wood/Altidore/Bradley/Johnson/Brooks/Cameron/Yedlin.

How you do this, I’m not quite sure, but I feel like these guys are all a cut above the others.
