  1. Lawrie McMenemys Red & White Army! Nice work Clive, very smooth. But, who do you think Saints should get to replace Freddie Starr this year?

  2. Great interview, I went to the semi at Stamford bridge but lost my ticket stub, so could not get a ticket. My uncle came up trumps with a Liverpool ticket for the final. They didn’t want to let me in at the Saints end but I insisted, & as it was all standing in those days it was no problem. For me a high light was when we sang “oh when the saints” the utd fans sang o”oh when the reds” so you had 100,000 singing the same song. It was incredibule. On the down side as I left the stadium coming down the internale stairs some cockney reds hit me over the head with a crash helmet. I fell down the stairs and they nicked my wallet & st Christopher. But I still smiled all the way home. I had lost my voice long before the game ended. .
